Our Service Menu

The Hair Company is Southern Maryland's premier hair salon and boutique for all your expert cutting, coloring, and hair texture needs. Our experienced stylists provide you with the perfect look for any occasion.

We believe in charging with integrity, as well as charging our team's worth. We’ve noticed in our industry there’s a lot of gray area when it comes to pricing, specifically with hair color. Typically the salon industry uses the ‘guess method’ by estimating your product cost and adding it into your price.

At The Hair Company Leonardtown, we have chosen to make a change to that gray area to create full transparency. To do so, we moved to a system called Vish which measures the exact amount of product needed for YOUR hair & what’s required to achieve your desired results. This way you are never overcharged and you pay for exactly how much product was used.

All service prices shown represent our starting prices (Level 1). Prices vary by stylist based on their Level. Prices are subject to a proper consultation and may vary according to the length and condition of your hair.

Scalp to ends customized color done in one single process to cover gray, lighten (up to 2-3 levels). There are no highlights/lowlights the entire hair is the same color. If the hair is platinum or blonde this would require a different service.

Single Process Retouch

Grey coverage or slightly lightening the natural regrowth to match the previously colored hair from half to 1 inch of regrowth.

T-Zone Color

The T-Zone color is perfect for in between visits of the Single Process color when your tight on time or watching your budget. Color is applied to regrowth ½ inch on each side of your part, and around your hairiline.

Demi All Over

Scalp to ends customized color to blend gray, change tone, or go darker. There are no highlights/lowlights the entire hair is the same color. Demi color slowly shampoo’s off (4-6 weeks depending on how often you shampoo), leaving no line of demarcation.

Demi Retouch

Grey blending, change tone, or take the natural regrowth darker or to match the previously colored hair from half to 1 inch of regrowth. Demi color slowly shampoo’s off (4-6 weeks depending on how often you shampoo), leaving no line of demarcation.

Redken Brews for Men Color Camo is an ammonia-free, demi-permanent treatment that delivers cool and natural tonality with easy application and low maintenance results. Blends gray hair in 5-10 minutes.

When your goal is to be an all over platinum or blonde on darker natural color. Your hair is prelighted to the necessary level then toned with a conditioning color. This is a double process color that requires a commitment to maintenance visits every 3 weeks (to avoid off color banding) and prescription hair care used at home.

Blonding Retouch

Your regrowth (up to ½”) is prelighted to the necessary level then toned with a conditioning color. This is a double process color that requires a commitment to maintenance visits every 3 weeks (to avoid off color banding) and prescription hair care used at home.

Foils are the perfect way to achieve multi-dimensional color from the roots to the ends. Our expert colorists use the foiling technique to create natural-looking highlights or a bold statement, giving you the perfect color you're after.
Foil 1.0

Up to 15 foils are strategically placed for the desired result. Toning may be needed at an additional charge.

Partial foil using up to 30 foils. Typically includes top, sides and crown. Toning may be needed at an additional charge.

Hand Painting & Balayage
Experience the latest hair trends with our specialized technique that creates dimensional, lived-in looks using multiple methods, perfect for when you're looking for something beyond a basic highlight or a ‘lived-in’ look. Hair Painting/Balayage includes refining toner/glaze.

Available when reserved within 6-7 weeks of full highlight service. Includes a Root Bump/Tap/Smudge & a Hair Cut and Style. Since this is considered a ‘maintenance appointment’ it is highly recommended that you also schedule a deep treatment during this appointment.

Add-Root Tap/Smudge/Shadow/Melt

Root Tap/Smudge/Shadow or Color Melt is a technique that blends highlights with the base color of your hair so there’s no harsh lines or clear distinction between the different colors. Your colorist will determine the exact technique for your desired results.

Whether you’re getting highlights, lowlights, going darker or trying a new hair color, color melting is all about that flawless melted effect. Multiple shades are used in color melt hair to create the smooth transition. It’s a great hair color technique that makes any hair color look like it could’ve happened naturally. With color melting, the colors in your hair should blend together so flawlessly that you shouldn’t be able to tell where one hair color ends and another begins.

Corrective color pricing is based on the services needed to correct the challenges. Many times there is no way of know of knowing exactly what will need to be done until we actually begin working. However, we will do our best to give you a general quote before beginning any corrective work.
